Andy recently refinished our 30-year-old hardwood floors, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our floors were red, and outdated. They weren’t well maintained, so we honestly didn’t know what they needed. He walked us through everything and used a pink equalizer to remove the red tones—something we didn’t even know was possible—and the transformation is incredible.

He also replaced a section that had water damage, and you’d never know which part was patched. His workmanship is truly top-notch.

He showed up exactly when he said he would, worked efficiently, and kept us informed at every step so we always knew where we were in the process. The price was a great value for the level of quality and care he put into the job.

On top of that, he was extremely patient with us staying in the house during the project—plus we have three dogs, and he handled the situation with total professionalism.

Highly recommend him to anyone considering refinishing their floors. The whole experience exceeded our expectations! Andy was also so helpful to recommend other tradesmen he had experience with and share his knowledge as we started a renovation that we had no idea where to start.

Andy is an artist with wood. He truly is. He just completed a major job for us - removing all carpeting and existing hardwood and replacing with prefinished hickory hardwood (including the formerly carpeted staircase to the second floor - to say it went from meh to stunning is an understatement). From the day he single-handedly hauled in over 100 75-lb. boxes of product to the day he finished installation, he was a consummately skilled professional and we could not be more happy with the results. (That includes the painters he hires to correct the inevitable scratches, etc. - Tom's Painters' work was so good we independently hired them to paint several rooms and our deck.) We cannot recommend Andy more highly! Thank you, Andy, for transforming our home.

As a former small business owner I try to trade with small privately owned businesses whenever I can. The owners work hard to make customers happy and develop repeat business and expand their business through references. I’m pleased to say that A-Max flooring did all that. Andy provided reasonable and fair quote, did what he said he would and followed through. Our repaired and refinished hardwood floor looks great. To note, Andy is pleasant and easy to talk with.

Andrew was great. Always on time and finished the work when he said he would. I would definitely use A-Max flooring again.

Andy did an amazing job on my floors. I’m so happy I used him. He was honest, reliable and professional. I would highly recommend him for any flooring needs.

Very happy with our floor renovation. It was a large project but it was seamless. Our floors are beautiful.

Exceptional work at a reasonable price. We had him fix some water damage on our floors and he did an incredible job! Don't waste your time going with anyone else.

Friendly and skilled! Andy knows what he's doing and charges a fair price!

Our floor buckled. I was skeptical of the solution he proposed, but it turned out great. Would highly recommend

We used A-Max for a downstairs wood floor install and have been very pleased with the whole process. Adam was very clear in explaining his process, allowed for questions and reviewing his process. He had helpful suggestions along the way and has continued to be helpful with questions since the install. Adam was precise on his timing on the process and made our install a pleasure! We would recommend him to anyone!!

Did a great job on my mother in law house.

Andy did a fantastic job reflooring a five bedroom property. Very high-quality work. On schedule. Excellent communication. And helped us save money on materials.

Nicely done! Andy is a craftsmen first. This is how he approach his work. My floors are fully repaired and beautiful.

Andy does beautiful work and is very reasonably priced! He is respectful of your home while he’s working. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend A-Max Flooring. Andy was professional, precise and thorough from our first phone call through the end of our project. He does excellent quality work and generously provides valuable advice along the way. He was timely and responsive. We are delighted with the laminate flooring installation.

As part of a home remodeling project, we purchased laminate flooring for 3 rooms and 2 halls. Our contractor recommended AMax Flooring for the installation. That was a great recommendation. Andrew Maxey did wonderful work not only with installation but also in restaining stair edges and railings to match our new wood. He also tightened a loose knewl post. Mr. Maxey is qualified, reasonably priced and amicable to work with. We would not hesitate to call on him again.

Mr. Maxey did an amazing job on my hardwood floors. He was able to squeeze me into his schedule to meet my tight deadline. He was even able to lace in new flooring to hide an old patch. Fair pricing, prompt service, would definitely recommend his services.

Andy with Amax is a top notch HW flooring professional. Absolutely awesome. Excellent communication and showed up on time, every time. Andy installed and finished our new hardwood floors. I 100% recommend Andy for your hardwood flooring needs

Andy discussed all details of the job with us. Without pressuring us into a contract.

Mr. Maxey was very prompt and courteous. He explained the options and assisted us in finding the best product. His installation services are top notch. We are completely satisfied.

I own a professional services company. One of my pickiest clients was looking for a miracle lol on almost unsalvageable hardwoods....needless to say, he was amazed by A-max!!!! Beautiful job, always on time, very reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend!
